Born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Dominique (Nikki) Ruffalo is currently a Freshman in the BFA Musical Theatre program at the University of Arizona. She graduated from Catalina Foothills highs school and currently in her second year studying voice with Ms. Stephanie Fox. An avid performer, she started dancing at the age of two, growing to become a versatile performer in dance, acting, vocal performance and one of her most latest endeavors, contortion. Along with staring roles in numerous productions such as Legally Blonde, Chicago, She loves me, Anything Goes and A Chorus Line, she is passionate about teaching and choreographing. She has choreographed quite a few productions and dance pieces both in her hometown and in Tucson, including, but not limited to, AYCE’s latest production of Legally Blonde Jr. the musical. She is also a volunteer coach for Tucson’s little league cheer leaders, the Foothills Chargers. Competitively Nikki has excelled as well, most recently winning 3rd place in the Musical Theater division at the National Classical Singer Competition, in San Antonio, Texas. Nikki was referred to the studio by long time studio member, Mary McCabe. Nikki says she knows that under Stephanie’s nurturing yet technical tutelage, she will become a stronger and more professional individual.
