Aliyah was a tiny 6 year old when her mother first brought her to the Magic Voice Studio. Aliyah had big aspirations for a little person and nothing stood in her way.  She started learning tough repertoire (her choice) and entering competitions and pageants where she always shined.

Aliyah studied dance and acting and tried on every genre of music that she could, performing opera, musical theater and singing with a jazz big band before she was 10.

Aliyah always knew her mind and was sometimes very strong-willed. Her mother was incredibly patient with and supportive of her throughout her years of changing and maturing. She made the switch from primarily classical to primarily Musical Theater in High School. One thing was without question, and that was that she would perform. She won 1st place at numerous local, state and national competitions including the NY Lyric Opera Competition where she was awarded the opportunity to sing on Broadway at age 10. She also has the distinction of winning every level of the Hal Leonard International online vocal competition. Now she is happily studying her craft at the University of Michigan which is arguably one of the most difficult programs to be accepted into in the country.
